Like many good ideas (debatable…), the ORW-15 was conceived around a campfire with frosty beverages in hand. We spent a lot of time custom building AR rifles for our customers and noticed that based on our recommendations, user feedback & performance, we were building the same gun over and over. With the help of our friends that own a high end custom machine shop the ORW-15 was born. What started off as a fun side-project, morphed into a full-blown rifle program.

The ORW-15 is Oregon Rifleworks’ premier line of firearms. Built around a 416R SS barrel chambered in .223 Wylde, it hosts a mid-length gas system (14.5″ & 16″ lengths) that provides smooth and reliable cycling, and reduces wear on moving parts. The 18″ models utilize rifle Rifle length gas systems while the 10.3″ and 11.5″ pistols are configured with Carbine length gas sytems. The billet upper and lower receiver blend seamlessly together, and paired with our full-length M-LOK handguard, feature an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail on top. the ORW-15 has plenty of real estate for any sights, optics, and accessories the end-user may require. Each ORW-15 is assembled by hand, one at a time, by a professional armorer who inspects, test fires, and cleans each weapon to personally guarantee it meets our quality standards.
